We think our natural coconut fiber body loofah may be the most comfortable, convenient, and effective exfoliation tool ever made. When you try it, we think you’ll agree.
Exfoliation isn’t just for your face. It benefits the rest of you too. In general, exfoliation in the bath or shower:
removes dead skin cells
allows moisturizers and serums to absorb more effectively
encourages new skin cells to grow faster, which results in brighter more glowing skin
Since we’re all about natural skin care products here at NatureMary, we searched high and low to bring you our first choice of a natural exfoliation tool.
We chose this tool because:
It’s perfect for exfoliating arms and legs.
Can be used easily in the bath or the shower
It’s easy to hold
It dries quickly
It’s the perfect size—large enough to cover the areas you want to exfoliate, and small enough to travel with.
Best of all, our body loofah is eco-friendly, made from 100% natural coconut fibers, is entirely biodegradable and carbon negative.
Comfortable and Convenient
While other loofah products may be large, unwieldy, and difficult to store, our Natural Coconut Fiber Body Loofah is made to be used with your comfort and convenience in mind.
The round shape, soft back, and elastic holder make it comfortable to hold in your hand. You won’t drop it in the shower or lose track of it while you’re soaking in your bath.
The coconut fibers dry quickly between uses. And I know we mentioned it above, but it’s worth emphasizing: This loofah is the perfect size to easily tuck in your gym bag or travel gear so you can take it with you when you’re on the go.
Regular exfoliation in bath or shower is a key component of total body care. Removing dead skin cells and encouraging new cells to grow while stimulating circulation is one of the best ways we know to take care of yourself from head to toe.
How often to exfoliate?
How often you exfoliate depends on your skin type and the tool you’re using. This is NOT an everyday activity.
In general, once or twice a week is plenty for physically exfoliating dry skin with a tool like this one. If you have oily skin, you may want to exfoliate more often.
Recommendations for Use
Follow these six steps to get the most out of your natural coconut fiber loofah.
Get the coconut fibers wet
apply the soap or soak of your choice
make small, gentle, circular motions on the skin surface
Exfoliate any given area for about 30 seconds and then move on.
Rinse with lukewarm-- not hot-- water.
Apply moisturizer after exfoliating.
A Brief Word of Caution
Please be gentle with your skin when using this or any other physical exfoliation tool. Over-exfoliating can lead to redness and irritation.
Avoid exfoliating if your skin has cuts, open wounds, or is sunburned. You should not exfoliate if you’re using certain medications or acne products, including retinol and benzoyl peroxide. Stop exfoliating immediately if you notice your skin is red, inflamed, peeling, or irritated.
