Notes from Sonia – Why I Started, and Why I Keep Going

Hello friend,

I’ve always believed that the best conversations happen when we put aside the noise and just speak honestly. That’s what I want this space, Notes from Sonia, to be. A quiet corner where I can share what’s on my heart, and hopefully remind you that you’re not alone on your journey toward wellness.

When I first thought about creating NatureMary, I wasn’t dreaming of bottles, labels, or websites. I was thinking about people, family members, friends, even strangers I’d meet who shared their struggles with chronic pain, sensitive skin, or the frustration of “trying everything” with little relief.

At the same time, I knew the power of biology, and the way our bodies are beautifully designed to work in harmony with nature. The science was there, terpenes, botanicals, and plant compounds that could actually make a difference at the cellular level. It felt wrong to keep that knowledge in a lab when I could share it in a way that touched real lives.

So, NatureMary was born. Not as a brand, but as a promise: that anything I create must be something I would wholeheartedly share with my closest loved ones. Something that’s clean, chemical-free, and designed to support, not fight against, the natural balance of your body.

Why do I keep going? Because every time I hear from someone who says, “This eased my pain,” or “My skin finally feels calm,” it reminds me that this is bigger than products. It’s about connection, care, and community.

So here’s my little reminder for you this month: take gentle care of yourself. You don’t need to overhaul your entire lifestyle to feel better, just small steps matter. A glass of water. A few minutes of fresh air. Resting without guilt. Choosing kindness toward your body.
